🚀 The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Division Head to lead and scale our Odoo practice. This is a strategic leadership role that combines technical excellence, team management, and business development. You'll be responsible for building and leading our Odoo division, driving successful implementations, and establishing Nexus Software as the go-to Odoo partner in the UAE and broader GCC region.

🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Odoo functional and technical consultants
• Build and scale the Odoo division through strategic hiring and team development
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Conduct performance reviews and create career development plans for team members
• Establish best practices and quality standards for Odoo implementations

Project Delivery & Implementation

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent Odoo implementation projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Manage project risks, issues, and escalations effectively
• Maintain high client satisfaction and build long-term client relationships
• Review and approve technical architectures and solution designs

Business Development & Pre-Sales

• Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities
• Lead pre-sales activities including solution presentations, demos, and proposals
• Conduct requirement analysis and solution scoping for prospective clients
• Prepare effort estimates, project plans, and commercial proposals
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

Strategic Planning

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the Odoo division
• Identify market trends and opportunities in the Odoo ecosystem
• Drive innovation and adoption of new Odoo modules and technologies
• Establish partnerships with Odoo and complementary technology vendors
• Define KPIs and metrics to measure division performance

🧠 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo/OpenERP implementations
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role within Odoo projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering 10+ complete Odoo implementations
• Experience managing teams of functional and technical consultants
• Strong experience in both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of Odoo architecture, modules, and customization capabilities
• Expertise across multiple Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and web technologies
• Experience with Odoo integrations (APIs, third-party systems, payment gateways)
• Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Business & Leadership Skills

• Excellent project management skills with PMP or similar certification (preferred)
• Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams
• Strong pre-sales and client-facing skills
• Experience with solution architecture and business process optimization
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills (English required; Arabic is a plus)

Location & Legal Requirements

• Must be based in Dubai, UAE or willing to relocate
• Valid UAE work visa or eligibility to obtain one
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Odoo Certified Partner or individual certification
• Experience in the GCC/Middle East market
• Background in ERP implementations beyond Odoo (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Existing network of Odoo professionals and industry contacts in UAE
